Quick review Blended whiskey produced by the Knockando distillery, located in the Speyside region in Scotland. This whiskey is composed of at least 40 single malts and whiskey grains that were previously aged for periods of at least 3-5 years. Later, the blends undergo a combined aging process in oak barrels, which lasts about half a year. The result is a soft, light and delicate whiskey relatively to other brands. Word from the expert Scotch J&B Rare was created in order to penetrate into the American market and benefit from its huge potential. It was marketed successfully since 1910. In 1920, when the prohibition period started in the USA, J&B continued to market their whiskey through the "back door", in order to continue to habituate the picky Americans to its unique flavor. Following the cancellation of the prohibition laws in 1933, the whiskey has already become the most popular and preferred among the American whiskey consumers. Today, 6 million crates of the Rare brand are sold annually worldwide.
