Vodka is an alcohol that has no smell, taste or color - when it’s made from high quality ingredients. Vodka is produced mostly from different grains (usually wheat and barley), but many types of vodka are produced from potatoes, grapes, oatmeal and more. You can identify where different types of vodka were produced by the origin of their raw materials. In Poland, for example, it is customary to produce vodkas from potatoes and scandinavian use unique wheat for their vodkas. Vodka prices are determined by the texture of the vodka, the quality of raw materials, production method and the degree of its refineries. That makes the prices of premium vodka and ultra premium vodka such as Grey Goose, Van Gogh Blue, beluga and Crystal Head, particularly high.
